FELL rescue members were called out after a 78-year-old woman suffered a suspected stroke while enjoying a day out at the newly restored stepping stones at Bolton Abbey.
The Grassington-based Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association (UWFRA) was called to the beauty spot on Wednesday.
Ten team members attended the incident, which they were at for just under an hour. It was the 31st call-out for UWFRA so far this year.
A spokesperson for UWFRA said: "The ambulance and the first team member arrived and assessed the lady whilst the team vehicle was on route, a suspected stroke was diagnosed.
"The team then assisted the ambulance crew in helping the casualty to the waiting ambulance."
They added: "We wish the lady a speedy recovery."
