DISRUPTION has been caused between Bradford Interchange and Leeds train stations this evening.

Trains have been delayed up to 40 minutes or cancelled over the peak period on Wednesday.

It comes following a "trespass incident", National Rail said.

Lines reopened just after 5.10pm but disruption is expected to last until 6.15pm.

A post on the National Rail X page read: "Lines have now reopened following a trespass incident between Bradford Interchange and Leeds.

"However, whilst service recovers, trains running between these stations may be delayed by up to 40 minutes or cancelled."
