A KEY Bradford road was down to one lane this afternoon as police directed traffic around a selection of eye-catching cars that had gathered for a wedding convoy.
There was disruption on Rooley Avenue in the Odsal area at around 1.30pm on Wednesday.
Rooley Avenue was temporarily reduced to a single lane towards Staygate as police asked wedding guests to find alternative parking places.
The collection of vehicles included a large number of supercars.
The T&A understands that the wedding party was due to set off for destinations including Ogden Water, with talk of helicopters also being involved to transport some of the guests.
The convoy departed at around 2.30pm and could be seen heading along Rooley Lane towards Dudley Hill roundabout.
One motorist said: "I've passed there today and they're parked on the curb all down the road, absolutely appalling."
One woman said: "Wish I'd known sooner. My autistic teen loves these cars. I'd have brought him over."
Another observer commented: "This happens all the time when its weddings - usually when people travel in convoys but they should be more considerate to other road users as well."
