Tong Garden Centre has teamed up with the National Science and Media Museum to deliver a series of summer holiday drop-in activity sessions.
Every Monday in August, visitors to Grass Hoppers indoor and outdoor play at Tong Garden Centre can join in science demonstrations and fun activities led by the museum team.
Rebecca Ure, assistant manager at Grass Hoppers, said: "Depending on when you come, you'll either be able to create a straw rocket and see how far you can blast it off into space, design a storyboard for a film, or make a mixture to help a very large animal brush its teeth, so don't miss out!"
Sessions take place between 9.45am and 4pm.
Entry to the sessions is free with a Grass Hoppers ticket, which costs £7.95 and must be pre-booked on the Grass Hoppers website.
Each child's ticket comes with two free adult tickets.
The sessions complement a wider summer programme at Grass Hoppers which includes a penalty shoot-out on August 6, party dances on August 8, giant games on August 13 and giant bubbles and chalks on August 20 and 22.
Grass Hoppers is suitable for children up to 10.
