FIREFIGHTERS have battled a blaze in a high-rise block of flats in Bradford.
Crews from Bradford, Fairweather Green and Stanningley fire stations were called to the incident on Otley Road.
The call came in to firefighters shortly after 2.50pm yesterday.
According to West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service (WYFRS), "no persons were involved" in the blaze.
A spokesperson from WYFRS said: "This was a fire in a flat in a high-rise property.
"Crews used four breathing apparatus, two hose reels and a high powered fan to clear the smoke.
"No persons were involved.
"Smoke detectors were fitted and working at the time of the incident."
The cause of the fire has not been given.
