A BUS service was avoiding a road in a Bradford estate due to an "incident".

First West Yorkshire announced at 4.48pm yesterday on X that its 645 service was being diverted because of an "incident" at Rimswell Holt, which sits in the middle of the Ravenscliffe area.

The 645 serves between Buttershaw and Greengates, via Bradford city centre.

It was being diverted via Harrogate Road, New Line, and Redcar Road in both directions.

A spokesperson for First Bradford said the 645 was temporarily diverted due to "a police incident" until 6pm.

The service returned to normal after that.
