A BRADFORD man is due to appear in court today charged with rape.
Detectives have been investigating a report of a serious sexual assault in the Allerton area.
Mohammed Naveed, of May Avenue in Thornton, has been charged with rape, West Yorkshire Police said in an update today.
The 41-year-old has been remanded in custody and will appear at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court today, West Yorkshire Police said.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Mohammed Naveed, 41, of May Avenue, has been charged with rape.
"He’s been remanded into custody and will appear at Bradford Magistrates' Court later this morning (Thursday, July 25)."
