BRITAIN’S Got Talent finalist Alex Mitchell will open a Super League night of comedy at the home of the Bradford Bulls.

The club’s first comedy night is at the Odsal Stadium’s South Bank Stand on Thursday, July 25.

Alex, who wisecracked his way into the nation’s hearts on this year’s BGT, says: “When I was asked to open the new comedy night at Bradford Bulls I couldn’t turn it down.

"The club is at the heart of the community, I’m really looking forward to getting on stage at the iconic Odsal Stadium. I want to meet everyone who supported me on BGT at the Bulls stadium, to thank them and help put on a night to remember.”

Headlining the night is Paul ‘Silky’ White - described as “a very, very funny fella...just brilliant” by John Bishop and “funny and clever” by Tim Minchin.

Also on the bill is Dawn Bailey, a “forty something (ahem just turned 50) mum” (her own words) who views life through “happy specs and giddy knickers” (also her own words). Dawn takes an honest approach to life and love in a raw, no-holds-barred delivery.

Bilal Rashid, a bright young London comic, has performed at comedy clubs around the UK, and rising star Josh Sedman, when he’s not doing stand-up, works at Bulls sponsor MCP. The compere is Derby-based Bulls fan Anthony Williams.

A spokesman for KMC Comedy said: “The Bulls are delighting fans on the pitch and the club wanted to bring some joy on non match days too.

"Commercial Manager Ian Stafford and his team have pulled out all the stops to make comedy nights at Odsal as affordable as possible.” * For tickets go to ticketsource.co.uk/kmc-comedy
