BRADFORD Metro Bank's customers have donated £589.66 to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
The cheque from these generous donations was presented to the charity by the bank.
The air ambulance offers critical care seven days a week, 365 days a year, to those in most urgent need.
A doctor with accident & emergency experience and a specialism in anaesthesiology accompanies a pilot, technical crew member, and two specialist critical care paramedics on its helicopter flights.
Denis Charlette, store manager at Bradford Metro Bank, praised the generosity of the bank's customers in making the donation possible.
He said: "The Yorkshire Air Ambulance is an independent charity and receives no funding from the government or the NHS.
"The charity relies solely on the generosity of its supporters to keep their life-saving missions possible."
Charlette's comments serve as a reminder of the important role the charity plays in providing crucial support in emergencies, and of the public's crucial role in making the work possible.
Bradford Metro Bank, located at 5 Market Street, is part of the Safe Space scheme, providing a place for those experiencing or at risk of domestic abuse to call support services.
The store opens from Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 5pm.
