POLICE have released pictures of a mother, father, and two children who died in a tragic crash.
West Yorkshire Police was called to the A61 Barnsley Road, between Newmillerdam, in Wakefield, and Staincross, in Barnsley at 3.54pm on Sunday.
It was to reports of a crash involving a Ford Focus and motorbike.
Six people died in the crash - four from the car and a man on the motorcycle, alongside a woman who was a pillion passenger.
The force has now officially named the victims in the car, who were a family, and shared photos of them.
They are Shannen Morgan, aged 30, Shane Roller, aged 33, Rubie Morgan-Roller, aged nine, and Lillie Morgan-Roller, aged four.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Police are not yet in a position to name the motorcyclist and pillion passenger who also died at the scene."
More than £15,000 has poured into a fundraising page to support an 11-year-old girl who has been left orphaned by the deaths of her mother and father - Shannen and Shane - and her two younger sisters - Rubie and Lillie.
The GoFundMe page was set up by Paul Hepple, who said the money would go towards school fees, counseling, and living expenses.
He described the youngster, who is a huge Taylor Swift fan, as a "bright and resilient" girl who "finds comfort in her music".
Police said yesterday that the A61 was closed between Shaw Lane and Warren Lane was "likely to remain closed for some time as the investigation continues".
Superintendent Alan Travis of Wakefield District Police said: “This is an absolutely tragic incident which has resulted in the loss of six lives.
“Our thoughts go out to the families of those who have died who we are working with to provide support at this time.”
