A ROAD bridge across the Wharfedale railway will be closed overnight while works are carried out on the line.
Rail works on or near Kirklands Road, Baildon, will mean the closure of that road from 20 metres either side of the railway bridge.
Alternative routes for traffic will be via Kirklands Road (the unaffected section), Station Road, Baildon Road, Albert Street, Otley Road, Fyfe Lane, Upper Fyfe Lane, Mount Avenue and vice versa. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
The order will come into effect at 11.45pm on Monday July 29 and remain in force until 5.30am on Tuesday July 30.
This is one of a number of public notices announced this week by Bradford Council.
These include applications for goods vehicle licences.
D Fry trading as Darren Fry of 9 School Green Avenue, Bradford, BD13 3DF, is applying for a licence to use Greenlands Yard, Cottingley Moor Road, Bingley BD16 1UU as an operating centre for one goods vehicle and no trailers.
Owners or occupiers of land, including buildings, near the operating centre who believe that their use or enjoyment of that land would be affected, should make written representations to the Traffic Commissioner at Hillcrest House, 386 Harehills Lane, Leeds LS9 6NF, stating their reasons by Thursday August 1. This should also be sent to the applicant.

Fresh Trade Yorkshire Ltd, of 46 Houghton Place, Bradford, BD1 3RG is applying for a licence to use St James Wholesale Market, Unit 26/28, Bradford, BD4 7PN as an operating centre for two goods vehicles and two trailers.
Owners or occupiers of land, including buildings, near the operating centre who believe they would be adversely affected by this application should make written representations to the Traffic Commissioner at the above address stating their reasons by Tuesday August 6. Representors must at the same time send a copy of their representations to the applicant.
Elsewhere, Kaiwan Nasre Karimi has applied for a licence for the off-sale of alcohol from Monday to Sunday from 6am to midnight at his mini market at 79 White Abbey Road, Bradford, BD8 8DR.
Any objections should be made in writing by Wednesday August 7 to: Licensing Team, Argus Chambers, Hall Ings, Bradford, BD1 1HX. The Licensing Register and Record of application are available for inspection at the above office by appointment only.
It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application under the Licensing Act 2003. Committing this offence could lead to a maximum fine of £5000.
