A COMMUNITY has been left devastated after a fire ripped through bungalows late on Sunday night.
It happened just before midnight on The Crescent in Buttershaw on Sunday.
Two of the homes, which are run by Anchor Housing, were 100 per cent involved in the blaze.
The fire service said there were seven casualties, all of which were out of the properties when firefighters arrived.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service added that three of these were taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary.
Crews used four hose reels, two large jets, four breathing apparatus, and one aerial appliance to extinguish the fire.
As of Monday afternoon, West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said the cause of the blaze was still under investigation.
Anchor Housing said it has a "robust fire safety plan in place" and it is "working with the fire brigade who are investigating the cause".
In a statement sent to the Telegraph & Argus, it added: "The safety and wellbeing of our residents is paramount.”

When the T&A visited the scene on Monday morning, residents, who did not wish to be named, spoke of their shock.
Recalling the night, one said: "I could hear all the commotion around my bungalow. I thought what the heck is going on?
"I got out of bed and had a look outside my front window. I saw all the fire engines and that is when I decided to open my front door.
"I wasn't sure whether to stop in here in case it set off on mine. It is so close.
"I was shaking when I got outside. My next-door neighbour said 'come in here and I will make you a drink'. We were both shocked.
"The roof was well on fire. That had gone up very quickly. We were all pretty frightened.
"They (the affected residents) have lost everything.
"They had five or six fire engines then ambulance and police. It was quite frightening.
"I took my car out of the drive because it was full of ash. I was just shocked when I saw it this morning at half past six.
"It is usually very quiet. It scared me to death."
Another added: "I just heard a load of shouting, I thought it was kids. After a bit, I thought 'right, I'll put my dressing gown on' and opened the door and it was on fire.
"There were flames everywhere. It's scary, isn't it?"
They spoke of how quickly the fire service arrived and after taking in the scene this morning, said: "It's devastation."
West Yorkshire Police said the investigation of the incident will be led by the fire service.
