THE Broadway in Bradford has revealed why one of its restaurants is currently closed.
Last June, Sakkusamba opened with great fanfare in the city centre.
Similar to its Manchester counterpart, the venue spanned two floors and seated 130 people.
However many customers were concerned when its Japanese-Brazilian fusion restaurant's doors slammed shut on Thursday, July 11.
Pictures, taken on Tuesday morning, show abandoned trollies and no activity in the unit.
The Broadway has now confirmed the restaurant is "temporarily closed for refurbishment".
A spokesperson for the shopping centre said: “We are aware that Sakkusamba have temporarily closed for refurbishment and are waiting for further details on when they plan to reopen.”
The Telegraph & Argus has tried to contact Sakkusamba Bradford for a comment.
