THE fire service has revealed the cause behind a fire at a block of flats.
Emergency services scrambled to Kennedy House on Hainworth Lane in Keighley on Friday evening.
Residents across two floors were evacuated from the building following the fifth-floor flat blaze.
Crews from Keighley, Bingley, Illingworth, Fairweather Green, Bradford, Cookridge, Halifax and Shipley fire stations attended.
An aerial appliance was also sent to the scene following the call at 5.46pm.
In an update, West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service told the Telegraph & Argus that a "faulty electric heater" caused the blaze.
The police and ambulance service were also in attendance.
No one was injured.
A Yorkshire Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "A number of ambulance resources responded to a fire incident at Kennedy House on Hainworth Lane in Keighley around 6pm on Friday evening.
"No patients required treatment."
