BRADFORD firefighters were among those to respond to a blaze at a West Yorkshire building containing lithium ion batteries.
Odsal Fire Station sent a crew to the inferno on Stainland Road, in Elland at 9.23pm last night.
Firefighters from four other stations rushed to the scene too - including Rastrick, Halifax, Illingworth, and Huddersfield, while there were several special fire service teams also at the scene.
These included an aerial appliance, aerial support, fire investigation team, CLM vehicle, hose layer unit, and command unit light.
The blaze took hold of the entirety of a 30 metre by 30 metre building, which contained lithium ion batteries.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "There was no exposure risks to the surrounding property and four ground monitors used to extinguish the fire.
"Local residents and anyone in the vicinity were advised to stay indoors with windows and doors shut and air conditioning switched off."
The response was pulled back at 1am today, with two fire engines left at the scene to damp down.
