A BRADFORD district pub has encouraged customers to be kind to its staff this evening.

Punters across the country will be heading to their locals to potentially witness history when England play Spain in the Euro 2024 final tonight.

One pub in Bingley is keen for its customers to behave before, during, and after the game no matter what the result.

The Engine Room on Market Street issued the plea on Facebook.

They have told customers to order bottles if they want the service to be quicker.

The bar will also not be serving in pint glasses and would rather people stand on chairs than tables.

Owners reminded customers that they are family friendly so no pushing or shoving is allowed.

The post read: "Please be kind to the staff.

󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮"We can only fit so many people behind the bar, there is no point telling us we need more staff.

"We can only go as fast as the beer pours! You want serving faster, buy bottles.

"Don't be the one that orders 20 baby Guinness when you can see the bar is 15 deep.

"No point asking for a glass because you won't be getting one, we have to risk assess everyone's safety.

󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿"Let the glass collectors do their job, if they can't get the glasses, you can't get served.

"Stand on the chairs all you like but stay off the tables.

"We are family friendly while the game is on so don't be pushing and shoving everyone.

"We are all here for the same reason.

"Don't be a d*** & let's just have a good time."
