A BLAZE broke out on the fifth floor of a Keighley high-rise block of flats earlier this evening.
The fire was in an apartment at Kennedy House, Hainworth Lane.
The alarm was raised just before 6pm.
Crews from Keighley, Bingley, Illingworth, Fairweather Green, Bradford, Cookridge, Halifax and Shipley fire stations attended, plus an aerial appliance was sent to the scene.
The police and ambulance service were also in attendance.
The fire was contained to a single flat, but residents were evacuated from the fifth and sixth floors as a precaution whilst firefighters dealt with the incident.
No one was injured.
There are currently no details regarding the cause of the fire.
Emergency services have now left the scene.
