AN investigation has been launched after a man suffered a head injury in an assault.
West Yorkshire Police said a 39-year-old man was taken to hospital following the incident, which happened at around 5pm on Thursday on Spencer Road in Lidget Green.
Two arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Police are investigating after a man was assaulted on Spencer Road, Bradford, yesterday at around 5pm.
"A 39-year-old male was taken to hospital with a non life-threatening head injury and has since been released from hospital.
"Two men, aged 20 and 54 years old, have been arrested on suspicion of assault.
"Enquiries remain ongoing by Bradford CID."
