FOLLOWING the success of last year's inaugural Summer Festival in Wrose, it's back again this year and better than ever.
Taking place on the grounds of The Bold Privateer on Wrose Road, the family-friendly day takes place on July 20 from 11am-5pm.
It will feature live music provided by Bren Travis and the Live Lounge.
Acts playing the Summer Festival include DNS, Stealing Tamar, FUBAR, Big Beef, Kieran Doyle and Vince Vega & The Road Dogs.
There will also be stalls selling local handmade gifts and crafts as well as street food.
The event is delivered by Wrose Parish Council working in partnership with the Windhill & Wrose district Councillors plus support from Bradford Council's Markets Service.
Cllr Alex Ross-Shaw, ward Councillor and Chair of Wrose Parish Council, said: "Last year's event was great fun and this year will be even better. We had over 300 people attend last year despite the weather working against us, so we're expecting an even bigger turnout this time round."
Cllr Liz Rowe, ward Councillor, said: "It's a real family event so we're encouraging people to come on down and enjoy the live music and chill out in the heart of Wrose this summer!"
Tammy Marie, the landlady of The Bold Privateer, said, "We always pride ourselves on giving people a warm welcome at The Bold Privateer and the Summer Festival will be no different."
