POLICE are continuing to investigate an incident where a man "appeared to be made to get into a car" in Allerton.

An investigation was launched after West Yorkshire Police was called to the scene on Allerton Road shortly before 8pm on Wednesday.

The call came from a member of the public who said they had seen a "man approached by two males and appeared to be made to get into a car on Allerton Road".

Police are making efforts to trace the man and find out more information about the incident.

Today, a police spokesperson said that "enquiries are ongoing".

On Thursday, police urged anyone with information to get in touch.

In a full statement on Thursday, a police spokesperson said: "Shortly before 8pm Wednesday, police received a call from a member of the public who reported seeing a man approached by two males and appeared to be made to get into a car on Allerton Road, Bradford.

"Enquiries are currently ongoing to trace the man and establish the full circumstances of what took place.

"Anyone with information that could assist is asked to contact Bradford CID via westyorkshire.police.uk/LiveChat or by calling 101 quoting reference 1659 of 10th July."
