A HUNT is underway after a murderer with links to Bradford escaped from prison.
Daniel Barker, 34, was reported missing this morning after he was absent at a roll call.
Members of the public are being warned not to approach the killer.
Police are appealing for help to locate Barker following his disappearance from Hollesley Bay Prison, in Suffolk.
Barker was sentenced to life imprisonment in 2005 for murder. A spokesperson for Suffolk Constabulary said: "He has links to the Bradford area of West Yorkshire.
"Members of the public are advised not to approach him and should call police on 999 immediately if they see him."
He is described as white, 5ft 5in tall, and of skinny build. He has short dark hair and a scar on the crown of his head.
Anyone with any information regarding his potential whereabouts is asked to contact Suffolk Police on 101.
