A PLUMBING supplier that has served the Bradford district for three decades will showcase a first of its kind service for the region when it opens its new unit.

Keighley-based Tap-In Plumbing Supplies invites the community to see its state-of-the-art virtual reality (VR) Design Center from this Wednesday.

Located at Clara House in Worth Enterprise Park on Valley Road, the new building houses 'The Bathroom Showroom' which features an "immersive VR experience that allows customers to step into their dream bathrooms before a single tile is laid".

Matt Richards, CEO of Tap-In, said: "After 30 years of serving our community's plumbing needs, we're taking a big leap into the future.

"Our new VR technology transports customers into their actual homes, allowing them to visualise their ideal bathrooms in stunning detail.

"It's not just about selling products; it's about bringing dreams to life while continuing to support our core plumbing trade customers."

The grand opening will be attended by representatives from IPG buying group and Wayne Jacobs, CEO of One In A Million Charity and former Bradford City footballer.

Jacobs added: "Tap-In's commitment to innovation mirrors our charity's dedication to creating opportunities.

"This new technology could inspire the next generation of designers and tradespeople in our community."

The company's expansion creates two immediate job opportunities and also features a new regional delivery service.
