POLICE have seized a vehicle in Bradford after checks showed it had no insurance or MOT.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Steerside Enforcement Team stopped the Mercedes-Benz on Ingleby Road.
A spokesperson from the team said: "Checks showed no insurance or MOT.
"The vehicle was seized and the driver reported to court for the offences."
It is illegal to drive a vehicle on a road or in a public place without at least third-party insurance.
Annual MOT tests are a legal requirement for most vehicles over three-years-old.
Operation Steerside was formed in 2016 - two months after the Telegraph & Argus launched its 'Stop the Danger Drivers' campaign.
A dedicated team was set up three years later specifically to tackle crimes on our roads.
