A MAN remains in custody after being arrested suspicion of wounding with intent following a stabbing on a Bradford street in the early hours of Friday morning.
A cordon was put in place on Broadstone Way, Holme Wood, after a stabbing took place just after 4am on Friday.
Police were called to the scene at 4.16am and found two men with leg injuries.
They were taken to hospital but have since been discharged.
A 33-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident. He remains in custody.
In an update today, a spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "The arrested man, 33, remains in custody having been arrested on suspicion of Section 18 wounding with intent in relation to the incident."
In an initial statement that was issued yesterday morning, a spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "At 4.16am Friday police were contacted by the ambulance service to reports a male had been stabbed in the leg on Broadstone Way.
"Officers attended to find two men with leg injuries, both have since been discharged from hospital.
"A man aged 31-years-old has been arrested in connection with the incident.
"Enquiries are ongoing by Bradford CID."
