ONE person suffered minor injuries in a rush-hour crash on the ring road near the Horsforth roundabout late yesterday (Thursday) afternoon.

Three cars, all of which were travelling from the Rodley direction on the A6120, were involved in a 'shunt' crash just before 6pm near the Horsforth roundabout.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "At 5.44pm, police were called to a road traffic collision involving three cars on the A6120 near to the roundabout junction for the A65.

"All three cars involved were travelling in the same direction, away from Rodley, when the collision occurred.

"One driver was treated at the scene by ambulance staff for an injury that was not serious or life threatening.

"The scene was cleared shortly before 7pm. There were no offences identified."

The police said the crash caused a large amount of traffic disruption in the area at the time.
