THOUSANDS of cosplayers dressed up as their favourite characters for a star-studded Comic Con.
Doctor Who fans were treated at the weekend to a lineup of three ex-doctors at Yorkshire Comic Con.
Presented by Monopoly Events, the annual convention took place at the Yorkshire Event Centre, in Harrogate, over the weekend (June 22-23).
With the star lineup including Doctor Who legends Christopher Eccleston, Paul McGann, and Colin Baker it is estimated that more than ten thousand fans attended - dressed in their best cosplay.
There was a woman dressed as the Joker as she pushed her baby along in a pram, one individual showing Mystique - foe of the X-Men - in her full glory, and a group of Ghostbusters.
One person went all out with their Denji costume - the main protagonist of the 2018 dark fantasy manga series Chainsaw Man - while Wolverine and Harley Quinn also made appearances at the event.
There were plenty of other celebs outside the Doctors who also attended.
This included Kristian Nairn, who played Hodor in Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad actor Giancarlo Esposito, and Matilda star Mara Wilson – to name just a few.
Previous years have proudly hosted the likes of John Cleese, James Marsters, Danny Glover, Gabriel Luna, and many more.
In addition to the celebrities, visitors were also able to browse trade stalls which sold everything from original artwork, toys, and clothing to replica props and even more.
People also had the chance to have their picture taken with some of the event's unique props and set builds, watch and join cosplayers in their spectacular outfits strut their stuff on stage, and test their skills in the retro and modern gaming areas.
A Comic Con spokesperson said: "Comic Con Yorkshire is part of the Monopoly Events family of pop culture conventions, attracting thousands of fans annually to the Yorkshire Event Centre in Harrogate.
"The main attraction every year is of course the star guests, and we always endeavour to bring you a variety of exciting names from movies, TV, streaming, gaming, anime and sports entertainment."
They added: "We’re all a fan of something, and Comic Con Yorkshire is the best place to celebrate all things pop culture.
"As well as having the chance to meet your heroes, get an item signed or a photo, many guests will also appear live on stage, so you’ll get to hear directly about their new projects and previous roles."
