POLICE have seized a speeding car which was clocked going at 67mph on a 30mph Bradford road.

Officers from the Steerside Enforcement Team stopped the vehicle after clocking the driver travelling at 67mph on the 30mph Saltaire Road in Shipley.

The driver is facing multiple offences after not being able to produce a valid licence or insurance.

A spokesperson for the Steerside Enforcement Team said: "Clocked at 67mph in a 30mph on Saltaire Road on the ProLaser 4 yesterday evening.

"The driver could not produce a valid licence or insurance.

"The vehicle was seized, the driver reported to court and a S.59 warning was also issued."

Steerside officers also seized a car on Kings Road in the Bradford East policing area of the city.

The officers found that the driver had no insurance, a revoked drivers licence and an expired vehicle excise licence.

The vehicle was seized and the driver was reported to court for all offences.
