POLICE have revealed why they were at a business premises off Leeds Road all weekend.
Five force vehicles - including four vans and one car - were pictured within an industrial area just off Leeds Road, near its junction with Rushton Road, in Bradford at around 4.15pm on Sunday.
A member of the public, who wished to remain anonymous, said officers had been there since the early afternoon on Saturday.
Drone footage sent to the Telegraph & Argus showed there were several officers guarding the area, as well as a cordon around what looked to be a scrapyard.
Workers were going about their business as normal, in and around the area police were focusing on, when the T&A visited the site on Sunday.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said today: "Police are investigating after officers sighted a stolen vehicle at a business premises on Leeds Road, Bradford on Saturday afternoon.
"Officers secured the premises to carry out a number of enquiries."
Police arrested a 27-year-old man in connection with the investigation and he remains in custody currently.
The police cordon has been removed but Bradford’s Precision Team are continuing the investigation.
