GRAHAM Alexander is at the wheel and hoping to steer the Bantams bandwagon to promotion this season.

And the City boss has got in some practice with a test drive in a lorry cab.

Alexander will be sponsored for another season by West Yorkshire-based haulage firm Collett & Sons – and they recently let him have a spin around the yard of their Halifax headquarters before being given a tour of the facilities.

Sales director Mick Harland said: “It’s great to begin a new season by continuing our support for Graham and Bradford City.

“Over the past three years, we have developed a strong relationship with the club. The commercial and match day hospitality elements are a real credit to the people who run it.

"As a company, we wish Graham and all the playing staff the very best for the coming season.

“There is a real positive vibe around the club, and we’re quietly confident that the entire team associated with Bradford City can achieve the goal of promotion for the club and especially for the fans.”

City’s chief commercial officer, Davide Longo, said: “We are delighted to see our friends at Collett continue to sponsor Graham Alexander heading into the new season.

“Our relationship with Collett has grown from strength to strength since they first came on board three years ago, and subsequently made the decision to start sponsoring our men’s first team manager a year later.”
