EV charging bays could be installed in the car park of a Bradford retail park if new plans are approved.

Instavolt has applied for planning permission to install four electric vehicle charging bays at the Woodhall Retail Park in Thornbury.

The retail park, off Leeds Old Road, is home to B&Q, B&M and Iceland.

The planning application submitted to Bradford Council says they would all be rapid charging bays.

A decision on the application is expected next month.

It is the latest application for EV charging sites in the city.

In recent months plans for charging bays at the Shell filling station on Rooley Lane, at a former pub site on Cutler Heights Lane, and on Valley Road in Bradford city centre have been approved.
