MOTORCYCLE owners are warned to be on their guard after would-be thieves struck.
Three males armed with bolt croppers were seen on CCTV attempting to steal a machine from outside an address at Elsie Street, in the Beechcliffe area of Keighley.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson says: "The suspects were disturbed by a neighbour and made off empty handed."
The incident occurred at 1.15am yesterday (June 19).
Anyone with information is asked to contact West Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting crime occurrence 13240329285.
The force has issued advice to help owners of motorcycles, scooters and mopeds keep their machines secure.
Tips include ensuring that a Thatcham or Sold Secure-approved electronic immobiliser is fitted, and use audible alarms where possible.
