A NUMBER of temporary road closures due to utility and construction works across the district have been announced by Bradford Council.
Electrical works proposed on or near Back Great Horton Road SE, has necessitated the closure of Back Great Horton Road from the rear of number 499 to the rear of number 505.
The order will come into effect at 8am on Monday June 24 and remain in force until 6pm on Friday June 28.
Alternative routes for affected traffic will be via Back Great Horton Road SE (the unaffected section), Back Southfield Lane, Beldon Road, Southfield Lane and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times while the work is carried out.
Telecommunication works on or near Back Bempton Place South, Bradford, means the temporary closure to traffic of Back Bempton Place South from the rear of number 16 Back Bempton Place South to the rear of number 34 Back Bempton Place South.
The order will come into effect at 8am on Tuesday June 25 and remain in force until 6pm on Sunday June 30.
Alternative routes for traffic affected by the order will be available via Back Bempton Place South (the unaffected section), Back Gathorne Street, Bempton Place and vice versa.Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Electrical works being carried out on or near Wilsden Old Road, Harden, Bingley, have resulted in the closure of Wilsden Old Road from a point outside number five Wilsden Old Road to its junction with Firbeck.
This order is in place until 6pm tomorrow evening.
Alternative routes for traffic are via Old Wilsden Road (the unaffected section), Wilsden Road and vice versa. Pedestrians can still use the route.
Construction works taking place on or near Spring Mill Street, Bradford, have necessitated the closure of Spring Mill Street from a point outside number 53 Spring Mill Street to adjacent number 41 Spring Mill Street.
The order came into operation on June 17 and remains in force until 5pm on Friday August 30.
Alternative routes for traffic affected by the order are via Spring Mill Street (the unaffected section), Ripley Street, Bowling Old Lane, Gaythorne Road, Round Street and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times while the work is carried out.
