A MAN has been arrested following a boat fire.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Tong Way, Farnley, at around 7pm on Sunday.
Dramatic footage on social revealed the boat, which was parked outside a property, was fully engulfed in flames.
"We can confirm the cause of the fire was deliberate ignition," said a spokesperson for West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service.
"West Yorkshire Police are now dealing with this matter."
A spokesperson for the West Yorkshire Police said: "Police have recorded an offence of arson with intent to endanger life in relation to a boat fire on Tong Way, Farnley, on Sunday afternoon.
"A man has been arrested and is currently in custody."
