TWO men and a woman have been arrested following a police operation targeting drug supply in Bradford city centre.

The operation took place in response to concerns raised by residents. 

The two men and a woman, aged 40, 46 and 28 were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class B and C drugs.

Subsequent house searches also led to a substantial amount of drugs being seized.

A spokesperson for the force said: "Bradford City Neighbourhood Policing Team have carried out a proactive policing operation specifically targeting the supply of controlled drugs in the city centre.

"This operation was initiated as a direct response to recent concerns raised from the local community.

"Two men and one woman, aged 40, 46 and 28, were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs (Class B) and being concerned in the supply of drugs (Class C).

"They all remain in police custody at this time.

"Subsequent house searches led to a further substantial amount of Class B and C drugs being seized.

"Enquiries are ongoing.
