POLICE have revealed more details about a cordon in a town centre over the weekend.

The cordon was in place in Main Street, Bingley on Sunday after the force was called to reports of an assault in the early hours of the morning that day.

A man sustained serious injuries, West Yorkshire Police confirmed.

They also said two men - aged 21 and 32 - were arrested on suspicion of assault.

The men have since been released on conditional bail while enquiries continue.
