A WOMAN was arrested on suspicion of assault after police were called to an ongoing fight at a pub.
West Yorkshire Police was called to a pub in Victoria Road, Eccleshill at 8.55pm on Sunday to reports of an ongoing altercation.
There was a large police presence at the scene and at least five force vehicles were parked near The Fountain Inn pub.
People could also be seen gathered outside the front of the pub while an officer interacted with them.
Two police vehicles were blocking Westgate, at its junction with Victoria Road.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said a 33-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assault when they arrived at the scene.
She is currently in custody.
A woman was rushed to hospital and treated for minor injuries, according to the force spokesperson.

"At 20.55 yesterday (16 June) police were called to a pub on Victoria Road to reports of an ongoing fight.
"On arrival officers arrested a 33 year old woman on suspicion of assault and remains in Police custody this morning.
"A woman was treated for minor injuries in hospital."
