THERE were huge delays on a motorway this evening after a two-car crash on an exit slip-road near Bradford.
West Yorkshire Police was called to reports of a collision on the junction 26 (M606, Chain Bar) exit slip-road of the M62 westbound carriageway at 4.18pm.
It involved two vehicles and a man required medical assistance at the scene but no injuries have been reported, according to a spokesperson for police.
They added: "There also appears to have been a further collision reported."
Lane one (of two) on the exit slip-road was closed for just over two hours while the crash was dealt with.
This caused huge tailbacks on the main motorway, with queues stretching back beyond junction 27 (Gildersome) at one point.
The slip-road was cleared by 6.25pm, with traffic returning to normal afterwards.
