POLICE have launched an appeal to find a man they want to speak to in connection with a burglary.
The appeal comes after a white Mercedes A200 was taken in a residential burglary in late May.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Police in Kirklees are appealing for information to help locate Shafeeq Ahmed who they want to talk to in connection with a residential burglary in which a white Mercedes A200 car was stolen from Hanging Heaton in the early hours of May 27.
"Shafeeq, 31, from Batley, is described as an Asian male, 6ft tall, with brown eyes and black hair. He has tattoos on his arms and neck and speaks with a Yorkshire accent.
"Anyone who thinks they have seen Ahmed or knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact West Yorkshire Police by calling 101 or go online at westyorkshire.police.uk/LiveChat quoting reference number 13240284240.
"Alternatively, call independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
