A FIRE at a Bradford property is thought to have been started deliberately, emergency services have said.

Firefighters were scrambled to Bowling Hall Road at around 12pm on Tuesday.

Three fire engines were in attendance and four firefighters had to wear breathing apparatus to deal with the fire.

West Yorkshire Police say the blaze occurred in an unoccupied property and it is is believed to have been started deliberately.

West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service (WYFRS) also added that the initial indications for the cause are that it was "deliberate".

Nobody was injured during the incident which WYFRS left at 1.15pm.

When the Telegraph & Argus visited the scene this morning, windows were bordered up and one was smashed.

Crews from Odsal, Shipley, and Fairweather Green stations attended along with a CLM vehicle.

Police investigations into the fire remain ongoing.
