Police have launched an investigation after a man was injured in a reported stabbing incident in Bradford's west end.

West Yorkshire Police was called to Back Grove Terrace, near the junction with Morley Street on the edge of the city centre, at 9.30pm on Wednesday (June 5).

The incident reportedly took place a short time earlier. 

A man was taken to hospital with injuries that are not understood to be life-threatening.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Police received a report at 9:30pm last night (Wednesday, 5 June) that a man had been stabbed.

"The offence is reported to have taken place a short time earlier on Back Grove Terrace near the junction with Morley Street, Bradford.

"The man was taken to hospital with injuries that are not understood to be life-threatening.

"Enquiries are ongoing to understand the circumstances of what has taken place.
