ARMY bomb disposal experts were called to a house and a man has been charged with six weapon offences.
West Yorkshire Police said the team was called to an address in Harley Drive, off Swinnow Lane, Bramley, on Wednesday.
This was "as a precaution to assess items found at the address".
A spokesperson for the force said: "These were confirmed as safe and presenting no risk."
A police cordon had been in place there since Tuesday morning and the Telegraph & Argus spotted two force vans parked outside a house in the street on that day.
But the scene was removed last night.
Steven Fulthorpe, 42, of Harley Drive, Bramley, has been charged with a domestic-related common assault, criminal damage, and six offensive weapon offences, in relation to the investigation.
He was remanded to appear at Leeds Magistrates' Court today.
