FILMS will be shown on a big screen in a Bradford village this weekend for free.
Wyke Cinema Day will be held on Sunday, June 9, at the Wyke Community Sports Village, with the gates opening at 11am.
It's a free event, with no tickets or booking required.
Organisers Big TV teamed up with Andy Pickering, who helps run Wyke Wanderers football club, for the day. The Acapulco nightclub in Halifax and The Coffee Box UK are sponsoring the event.
"We wanted to do it to make be aware of the new sports facilities and how good it is for a range of things, from dog walking to cycling events," said Jodie Cottrell, of Big TV.
"We also wanted to bring back some community spirit in Wyke."
What will be happening on the day?
11am: Gates open
12pm: Toy Story
2.30pm: The Greatest Showman
5pm: Mamma Mia the Movie
"We have a range of food and drink stalls attending along with craft and entertainment for kids," added Jodie.
"There are three bouncy castles and a Nerf gun experience for kids."
In between films, footage of Wyke in years gone by will be played and there will also be a children's quiz.
There is limited car parking, so those attending are advised to use other means of transport.
