BRADFORD City AFC’s official mental health supporters’ group, Bantams Safe Space, has now helped a total of 500 people suffering from mental health issues.

Established in 2021, the initiative works as a resource for supporters who may require a helping hand, providing a safe and supportive space for those in need.

The service is open to every Bradford City supporter, with this milestone reached in the past week as the group continues to grow.

Robert Cranmer, the head of Bantams Safe Space, said: “I want to express my sincerest thanks to the club for allowing me to manage this project, and for their continued dedication to helping others.

“It is truly inspiring to see the impact we are making in the lives of those struggling with mental health issues.

“As we look towards the future, I hope we can continue to grow and expand our services to reach even more people in need.

“I believe that, with the right support and investment, we can make a real difference in the lives of those struggling with mental health issues.

“Let us continue to work together to make a positive impact in the lives of those in need.”
