TOOLS were stolen from a van parked outside a cricket club.
The theft happened outside Oakworth Cricket Club on Wide Lane, Oakworth, between 7pm on Saturday, June 1 and 7am on Sunday, June 2.
Police reported that a VW Transporter Caddy van was broken into whilst parked outside the cricket club when the suspect/s reportedly smashed the nearside passenger window then lifted the bonnet to cut the battery wires, in a possible attempt to disable the alarm.
A number of tools were stolen.
Anyone with information about the theft should ring police on 101 and quote crime reference number 13240295309.
Two other theft from vehicle incidents took place in Bradford on Monday, June 3.
Sometime on Monday a person broke into a locked car parked on Linnhe Avenue, near Shelf, without causing any damage. Items of property were taken.
Also on Monday, a person reportedly approached a car parked on Brownroyd Hill Road, Wibsey, and forced the partially open window down.
The car interior was searched and suspect reportedly made off with items of property.
West Yorkshire Police have warned residents to always double check their vehicle is locked and nothing valuable is left inside.
