POLICE have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with an alleged sexual offence.
West Yorkshire Police said a young girl was reportedly approached by a man in a grassed area off Conway Crescent, Batley, in June last year.
A spokesperson for the force said today: "Officers have conducted a significant number of enquiries to establish the circumstances of what took place and believe the man pictured may be able to assist with continuing enquiries.
"If you recognise the man pictured below or have any information regarding the incident, please contact Kirklees CID."
Information can be given to West Yorkshire Police by calling 101 or visiting the live chat facility on the force's website, quoting crime reference 13230370914.
Information can also be reported anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
