FILMING has been taking place in Saltaire for The Choral, a new film written by Alan Bennett. 

It is Bennett’s first original screen script since A Private Function, filmed in Ilkley 40 years ago. 

Starring Ralph Fiennes and Jim Broadbent, The Choral about the impact of the First World War on a choir whose members are called up to the Front.

Of course it's not the first movie to be shot in the world's first UNESCO City of Film...
