A person has been taken to hospital following reports of an assault in part of Bradford.
West Yorkshire Police and Yorkshire Ambulance Service rushed to the scene of the incident shortly after 5.30pm on Friday (May 24).
Eye witnesses described seeing six police cars and an ambulance on Bank, in Eccleshill.
When the Telegraph & Argus arrived at the scene this evening, a large cordon was in place and a number of police officers were standing guard.
One of the cordons stretched across a flight of steps leading up an embankment.
A spokesperson for Yorkshire Ambulance Service confirmed that an ambulance and air ambulance were dispatched to the area.
One male patient was then taken to hospital by ambulance.
One resident said: "I've seen a load of police cars rushing down and an air ambulance."
The Telegraph & Argus has approached West Yorkshire Police for information.
