A YOUNG child was taken to hospital following a collision on a major Bradford road.
It happened on Dirkhill Road, in the BD7 area of the city, on Monday evening.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said officers were called by the ambulance service "to a report of a vehicle in collision with a four-year-old child at 8.38pm on Monday".
The spokesperson added: "The four-year-old was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
"The driver stayed at the scene and enquiries are ongoing."
