A MAN has been electronically tagged after breaching a sentence that was originally imposed for carrying an axe.
Bradley Rowlands-Tait, 22, of Whinney Hill Park, in Brighouse, admitted failing to comply with a community order he was handed for an offence, at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court last Thursday.
The sentence for that offence was originally passed by the same court on September 13, 2022.
It was for possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
Rowlands-Tait was caught carrying an axe in Richmond Road, Halifax, on March 8, 2022, according to court records.
The 22-year-old's breach was for failing to attend two unpaid work appointments - March 18 and April 15 this year.
The original offence was resentenced and the court gave Rowlands-Tait another community order.
This included electronic monitoring until November 15 this year.
Rowlands-Tait must also complete up to 30 Rehabilitation Activity Requirement (RAR) days.
