POLICE officers have carried out knife sweeps at two parks in Bradford.
Neighbourhood policing team officers conducted sweeps yesterday (Friday) at Wibsey Park and Brackenhill Park in Great Horton.
The sweeps are being carried out as part of Operation Sceptre which highlights the dangers of knife crime.
"Bradford South NPT officers have carried out a knife sweep at Wibsey Park and Brackenhill Park this evening.
"A number of further initiatives have been organised over the weekend as part of Op Sceptre which highlights the dangers of knife crime."
